A God Who Sees - Resurrection Weekend 2019

Yesterday I spoke in Angola, Indiana on the subject "The God Who Sees". It was a blessing to share my conviction through my own life's journey that this living God who I am so in love with and have committed to serving, has always seen me and my journey! He has always made himself known in his way and timing. I could always rest in his promise that he would never leave me nor forsake me. The Bible gives this promise to all of us in Psalms 23:4 (NASB) "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Your valley may not have the same name as mine or the next person but the valley of your deepest need

Every morning before class, I woke up and turned on a playlist I titled, "Shake your a** to this". It is filled with songs that can brighten anyone's day. I would prance around my room, choose my outfit then head to the kitchen to chow down on overnight oats. With an hour to spare, I pretty much started and finished all my homework on mornings and then would walk from the Village all the way to Brock. Headphone

Falling in love with a teenage boy

I seriously advise against it. In this love I found myself emotionally displaced and unfulfilled. With resistance from the party that I wished would receive this love, I was left with this overwhelming force inside me that needed a home. It was too much for my own heart to handle, I thought at first, but over the last few months I realized I indeed needed that love more than anyone else. I found a home in myself. But that’s not what I wanted. I wanted that to be him. It’s hard though. I’m not sure I believe we can choose who we love… Well, I think there are two forms of love. Read her full blog
